If the SEC were to add four more teams, who would you want to see join the league?

What youre missing is the SEC doesnt care how adding teams makes life harder on Tennessee. They just want to get into those markets.

What I dont get is why they arent going harder after Georgia Tech and that Atlanta market.

Atlanta is a UGA town BY FAR.

The only Atlantans that follow GT are the ones who went to GT. ATL is Bulldog country.

all 4 of these have big rivals already in conference

Of the ACC schools, Va Tech, NC State, Clemson and FSU fit the SEC culturally. UNC, Duke, UVA and Miami are more closely aligned w/ the Big 10.

I truly hope that the ACC can figure something out. I grew up in the heart of ACC country and it would truly be a shame to see a historically great conference go by the wayside. I’m gonna have a real hard time figuring out how Duke, Carolina and State aren’t going to be in the same conference when they’re all within 25 minutes of each other .

Now Wake Forest the town is one of the fastest growing areas in Wake county. We are actually considering moving in that direction in a few years. Of all the schools in the ACC Wake might be screwed over the most in this whole realignment deal. I think they’re the smallest P4 school. Ironically, Wake has won ACC titles more recently than Carolina and State (Carter Administration) and Duke in 89.

I’d prefer Duke, but NCST is fine. Many of my friends are VT fans so final list

So were Sewanee and Tulane. Adding GT wouldn't be far from a second Vanderbilt, in terms of stadium, facilities, and following.

And I would say Clemson is bigger in Atlanta than Georgia Tech is. I see Clemson stickers on cars everywhere.
