I think that's pretty accurate. It's not that he's bad. It's that he's not good enough to do it on his own.The problem most people have with JG is that he’s not dynamic enough to overcome all the other offensive problems. So you’re right, he’s not the problem, but for a lot of people he is because his ability can’t compensate

The sad part is you’re saying if we pull this one out! It’s Charlotte for crying out loud.
I was one who thought we could get to 6 wins. That was before today. I thought the Wyoming and Memphis games were bad. UMASS last year was really bad. This performance makes every one of those look great. There is no way we can win another game. We have SEC teams left. Every one of them have much better defenses and offenses than Charlotte.
against Florida in 2006, I believe... of course, that team won the National Championship and had something like 8 future NFL defensive players on it including Reggie Nelson. This was against Charlotte... pretty humiliating. Can anyone remember a game in which TN had negative rushing yards for an entire game?
My problem with him isn't ability, but the sack/fumble problem he has. He needs awareness, get the ball out, or run, or something. I know he's got a strong arm, he's tough, etc, but he needs better awareness. The problem most people have with JG is that he’s not dynamic enough to overcome all the other offensive problems.
