If Tennessee can pull this one out

The problem most people have with JG is that he’s not dynamic enough to overcome all the other offensive problems. So you’re right, he’s not the problem, but for a lot of people he is because his ability can’t compensate
I think that's pretty accurate. It's not that he's bad. It's that he's not good enough to do it on his own.

To me, I just think of which QB gives us the better chance to win? JG has a slow release time, and 90% of the time dumps it off to his check down receiver.

Chryst has a quick release time and is willing to take some risks.

So with a poor offensive line, who works out better? A quick release or a slow release? A QB that's willing to take a little risk, or one that throws 90% of his passes within 5 yards of LOS?

The sad part is you’re saying if we pull this one out! It’s Charlotte for crying out loud.

We just having fun today with pretty Charlotte...
And we were swingin' (swinging)
Yes we were swingin' (swinging)
Little Charlotte she's as pretty as the angels when they sing
I can't believe I'm out here on the front porch swing
Just a swingin' (swingin')
Just a swingin' (swingin')

Earlier in the season, we were seeing progress. Saw some vs UGa, more against Auburn. The past three weeks, though, no progress at all. In fact, parts of the team (OL!) are getting worse.

Five wins will be tough, much less six.
True..very true

Looks like 4-8 to me. If you cant run on conference USA team you sure wont run on SEC team. Hope he gets some OL recruits ready to go next year.

I had to sit a few plays out this year... It's almost not even worth the anger anymore.
Butch "I'll fetch your coffee" Jones, Derek "doo doo crumbs" dooley, Mike "I like the Ham" Hamilton, and many others have killed my spirit for college football.
I'll always watch, just not involved emotionally anymore..

And I do not blame kiffin anymore, as he avoided an even worst fate than being left on a tarmac....

HOW IN THE WORLD DID WE AUBURN??????

I was one who thought we could get to 6 wins. That was before today. I thought the Wyoming and Memphis games were bad. UMASS last year was really bad. This performance makes every one of those look great. There is no way we can win another game. We have SEC teams left. Every one of them have much better defenses and offenses than Charlotte.

Wrong.

Can anyone remember a game in which TN had negative rushing yards for an entire game?
against Florida in 2006, I believe... of course, that team won the National Championship and had something like 8 future NFL defensive players on it including Reggie Nelson. This was against Charlotte... pretty humiliating.

My problem with him isn't ability, but the sack/fumble problem he has. He needs awareness, get the ball out, or run, or something. I know he's got a strong arm, he's tough, etc, but he needs better awareness.
