I'm gonna have fall into that category. Our backing into the SECCG doesn't change the past 8 years of backsliding nor does it change the three absolute beatings during which we quit in the 4th quarter. If he goes to the SEC championship, one would be stupid to want him fired.

I realize that change isn't going to happen if we get there, so I'll leave it alone, but it doesn't change the facts regarding the decline of our football program.
I'm not saying that we don't deserve to go. We do if we win out. No debating that. We've just been fortunate that the other SECe squads have the same consistency problems that we have because of a lack of quality defenses in this half of the conference. Does it diminish the accomplishment in my eyes? Sure. Does it change the fact that we have the right to go? Not in the least. Had we dominated the East, yet lost a couple of tight ones, I'd feel differently. However, we weren't even competitive in the games we lost and laid down in all 3 4th quarters. I think we're in line to play in the game in spite of our poor play, not because of our good play.Have to disagree here. I want him gone, not backing away from that. But if we go, we aren't backing in. It will take winning out, to go. As for the mediocre East this year, Meyer and Richt had the same opportunity to win it.
FL was very fortunate to go last year to...Could have very easily lost at Knoxville, and SC....Every season it takes a little help from lady luck to get to the dance..I'm not saying that we don't deserve to go. GA, SC and ARK would disagree.......I'm not saying that we don't deserve to go. We do if we win out. No debating that.
