Got his first HC job at Jacksonville State and went 11-4 and won there first ever playoff game in his 1st and only year at JSU. Then went to UAB in 2014 and went 6-6 in his first year and the school shut down the football program after that season. In 2017 they restates football and he went 8-5, 2018 11-3 and won bowl game and 2019 went 9-5. Pretty remarkable after restarting a football program he has gone and 2020 he’s 4-3. Last 3 years they have gone to bowl games.

If he isn’t fired well suck for even longer than that. Not only will this class suffer, next years will be even worse. Then what coach is going to want to come inherent a dumpster fire program depleted of 2 classes worth of talent? It will be another up and comer whose willing to take the chance. If Fulmer has any kind of foresight, the temporary budget issues will be nothing compared to the alternative of Pruitt isn’t fired

Then if you wanna count his records as a high school coach he was 160-11. He was more successful than Pruitt in HIgh School. Pruitt was never a HC at the high school level. I would take Clark any day over what we currently have.

If you DON'T fire him it's going to be 6 years.

Everyone say "Who ya gonna git" when you can go out there and easily get Hugh Freeze and Jamey Chadwell right friggin now. So there's two vast improvements over what we have now. And we can shoot for Matt Campbell.

There's 100 coaches I can throw out there off the top of my head that would be an improvement over Coach Gomer

Not even High School principals would hire Pruitt as a head coach, let that sink in? He coached at the High School level for nine seasons including three as a DC. He has bounced around like a pinball. He has had 12 different coaching stops in 20 years as a coach/assistant

I kinda think at this point we are gonna suck another 4 years the way we are headed.

Dooley appeared to have done a decent job of building La Tech up when he was hired. Still didn't work on the scale of UT.

I'm sure Pruitt was given assurances that he would be given time to rebuild. There's probably merit in asking and agreeing to that. He simply has not made acceptable progress and appears to be regressing significantly.

And yet Phil thought it would be a great idea to hire him as HC. Fulmer needs to go when Pruitt does.

Tennessee and Texas A&M were pretty much even when they both hired coaches following the 2017 season. Similar talent, similar fan bases, similar QB’s (Mond sucked before this year).

One went and hired a coach who had won a NC, and one hired their 8th choice (if that).

For all the pluses TN has, they should be able to get a quality HC if their admin would quit screwing everything up.

Keep and we will still suck,.... I'd rather take my chances on a new coach
