I didn't realize they played 3 SEC teams last year.

Yeah, Vandy in Sep, Georgia the traditional in-state game in Nov, and Kentucky in a bowl on New Year's Eve.

Paul Johnson made some bulletin board material a month or three ago telling Tennessee to watch out, that the Yellowjackets were 3-0 against the SEC.

Of course, in 2017 he's 0-0. Until he gets to 0-1, courtesy of our lads in orange.

I think they are decent and difficult to prepare for. Being the opener is better than a game or 2 in IMO.

Im trying to decide if that's really good or not, Tech being one win away from UT's SEC total last year playing 3 games.

I'd say you could give a little each way. We know that our record definitely should have been better but GT is definitely miles of head of MTSU.
That was a statement of pure hyperbole, nothing else.

It's funny to see posters call themselves negavols like they're proud of it. They sometimes refer to the group as true fans and everyone else are Butch worshipping sunshine pumpers settling for mediocrity.

You see them say things like "there are many that are settling for mediocrity, pay attention, you'll see them". They say "demand results, hold Butch accountable ". Ask them how to do it? "Stop spending money, stop going to games, stop supporting the coach". Lol.

Then in another thread you see them making fun of other schools and their fairweather fans. " you don't see any fans when they're going 4-8, but when they start winning, they come out of the woodwork ".

Funny bunch they are. "Pay attention, you'll see". Believe me, I pay attention. And I see!

We have a prestige school and they have resources to compete with the best.....guess what fans have gotten in last 10 or so yrs?

Pumpers don't want anything negative or CBJ questioned...kind of how CBJ is...doesn't like to be dissected or questioned.

When ppl try to tell "negas" how to think and observe. ....it makes it worse

If, If and buts were candy and nuts, what a merry Christmas it would be......worthless post and survey.

Why would that be a Merry Christmas? Who would have a Merry Christmas if they just got candy and nuts?

None of the above. He simply doesn't need to lose that game. He can't afford it. UT can't afford it.

GT is better than middle.

"Miles" may be a little much.

They've beaten Georgia six times since our last championship.
Rivalry or not, there's just no way MTSU is even close to that. Several other big time wins on the record also.
I'm in no way overhyping them, they are not the standard in which we should be judged, but they are definitely not MTSU or even close.

You obviously haven't been paying attention.

Read your post and think about it.

Not sure of your point?
I'll go ahead and assume you know when our last championship was so..

1. are you suggesting MTSU could have gotten anywhere near beating Georgia six times in the same number of years?

2. Are you saying because GT beat Georgia in November and the championship came in January that it somehow nullifies the point?

"Miles" is what I would consider the difference between Middle and Bama. Maybe the difference in definition.
