If Bray plays like he did in the SC game the rest of the year

Patterson is an amazing talent, but his route running is awful. He needs another year to improve. Bray and Patterson haven't been on the same page on numerous pass attempts. More than Bray-Hunter or Rogers. I don't think that's a coincidence at all.

Bray isn't ready himself. Great talent, but again, no coincidence he struggles against equal talent. Needs to improve defense recognition and knowing where to go with the ball under pressure.

Either one might get drafted, but they'd only help themselves by staying another year.

All three are draft-able and even in late rounds they will get a couple million each which is peanuts for the teams and huge for these young men. Be honest 99% of us would grab it and be very happy. I know I would.

Will he likely go pro? Seems like his draft stock will bounce back up looking at the remainder of our schedule...that was a solid defense that he ripped to shreds and arguably the best dline in the nation. Of course the oline had a lot to do with it, but i could see his draft stock rising again with a few more 3-4 Td games and him and Hunter possible going.....i seriously hope they don't, because we are possible NC contenders next year if they come back and the defense adapts more to the 3-4.

Professionals are game changers. So far, I have not seen this from this trio. They are not Professional, in my opinion.

I don't think beating subpar teams will make his stock rise. The NFL scouts and coaches are gonna look at his mechanics (which are kinda sloppy still) and judge him on performance under pressure, vs quality teams. And he hasn't performed well against those teams. I don't see it happening, and if he declares, I don't see him going in the first couple rounds.

So we are 0-15 against the better teams in the SEC but we have all this NFL talent on the offensive side of the ball? I guess every team we have played has had NFL talent on defense all over the field.

That is correct, look at how many SEC teams are in the top 15 nationally.

I'd say if he gets anywhere from a 3rd or 4th round grade he's gone.. So we play out the whole year with Bray trying to get to 7-5. The backup gets no time to prepare for next year with 3 top 5 teams on the road.. Yeah that's going to be fun.. It's almost time to start looking at the big picture. This year is really toast..

Yeah// Everyone is caught up in trying to make the toilet bowl.. We need to be getting someone some minutes. This defense is so bad, we likely won't be up big enough on anyone to get that guy some time..

Thats the thing. If bray, hunter, and cp leave it won't matter if Dooley, Gruden, any coach they will have another crappy season. It will be another year of I hope we win 6 or 7 games.

You had me until this. But seriously, Bray is a moldable, protypical QB freak and several ball clubs will want to develop him. Hunter is the exact same. Both of these kids can go pro this year. Its all about weighing their respective return on investment if they're considering coming back, because they think they can up their draft status. I hope they stay, but I won't be surprised if neither does.

College QBs who look the part that shred mid major competition on the regular get drafted in the 2nd/3rd rounds all the time. The question is does Bray want to get to the first round. He'll need to put up record numbers for the rest of the season to do so, so he may come back.

A couple of seasons ago, Auburn was an average NCAA team, then in summer, they did a complete turn around and played lights out. They ended up winning the National Championship & the S.E.C.
No one saw this coming. All they did was add a couple of JUCO players to their roster and were coached up and the rest is history.

Why is it not possible, for us to take the players that we have now, who may be under achieving, and play lights out next season? We have plenty of seniors.
I know that this is very, very unlikely, but it can and has happened before. Teams can come from off the radar to win the National Championship...

Hunter is top 15 no matter what mock you look at. I don't think the people saying CP will go higher know anything about football. He will be a top pick an CP a second rounder. Bray could go anywhere from mid first to the early third at the very latest if he comes out. NFL teams don't care about w/l as much as measureables. Ryan Tanneyhill beat nobody and was a top ten pick.

CP is gone. Hunter will go also. On Hunter, I won't be upset. Guys played conservative all year waiting on the money. I'm sick of watching Hunter catch the ball and jump on the ground instead of trying to fight for extra yardage. On Bray, he's in a bad situation. If he's so good, you can blame part of the lack of progression on coaching. So do you stay where your not gonna get the help or hope a team roles the dice and molds you to NFL calibur?

whoever thinks in their crazy mind that we are title contenders next season is ABSURD!! we are years away from that status let alone the SEC title...this team has to gain depth and awesome coaching in EVERY position!! AND a proven WINNER of a coach that can and WILL take UT to the promised land!!! right now all of that is smoke and mirrors and pipe dreams, unless a major miracle happens in the next few years...

UT can't compete in the SEC East right now. And it is the weaker of the two SEC divisions. How can anyone claim we are NC material? Foolish post.

UT needs to just hope Bray leaves early so we can begin the 3rd rebuilding job of this team. No way do we need Bray for another year, potential or not. He is a devisive force on the team and fails to deliver in the clutch, repeatedly. Let's try someone else. Can it really get much worse than 0-5 in the SEC?

He just tossed 4 TDs against a great SEC defense...but yeah, let's rebuild with Worely....you frickin tard....defense is the problem... the offense is great...they are just ALWAYS playing from behind which of course leads to lots of mistakes.

We are last year's defense away from being a top 10 team and in the SECG and NC hunt. It's not far fetched at all...the offense is a juggernaut.

our offense folds in the 4th quarter of every big game. had a chance against florida until bray folds. pee's his pants and gets a grounding call when the great offense had a chance to nail the gators down. georgia, had a chance late but bray fumbles and throws a pick. msu, had a chance but 165lb running back fumbles. usc, another fumble and int. this is reality. we are who we are.

If the pro scouts look at the mental aspect, they would not touch Bray this year & it'd be iffy next yr IMO

Bray has been in four tight games. In each one his failure to make a play when needed to get the victory was the difference between victory and defeat. The NFL looks at how QB's respond to pressure situations. I doubt any of them would risk a high pick on Bray right now.

To be fair, we lost the state game because DY fumbled and we the fumble at SC wasn't Bray's fault. He did totally choke in the UGA and UF games though.
