Will he likely go pro? Seems like his draft stock will bounce back up looking at the remainder of our schedule...that was a solid defense that he ripped to shreds and arguably the best dline in the nation. Of course the oline had a lot to do with it, but i could see his draft stock rising again with a few more 3-4 Td games and him and Hunter possible going.....i seriously hope they don't, because we are possible NC contenders next year if they come back and the defense adapts more to the 3-4.

You had me until this. But seriously, Bray is a moldable, protypical QB freak and several ball clubs will want to develop him. Hunter is the exact same. Both of these kids can go pro this year. Its all about weighing their respective return on investment if they're considering coming back, because they think they can up their draft status. I hope they stay, but I won't be surprised if neither does.

College QBs who look the part that shred mid major competition on the regular get drafted in the 2nd/3rd rounds all the time. The question is does Bray want to get to the first round. He'll need to put up record numbers for the rest of the season to do so, so he may come back.

I am sure you meant Null in Conference Contender when you said NC contender right ?? we are 0-5 against SEC so far and you see us going for NC next year ?? I want to be an astronaut too !!

Only way they think about coming back is if Hart makes a blockbuster hiring at HC and lets whomever it may be bring a top notch assistant at every position.

Sad thing is that we are an average defense away from being 3-2 ,4-1 in the sec right now. Look at all the stupid mistakes and this team still had a chance at usc, state,Fla and Georgia. :cray:

No doubt, Bray had an outstanding game against the Chicken Nation. If I were an NFL draft analyst, however, I would put great credence in the fact that, prior to last week's game, Bray had completed approximately 51% of his passes vs. SEC opponents, as compared to roughly 77% in nonconference action. Similarly, his touchdown/interception ratio, again prior to last week's game was 6:8 for conference games and 10:1 for nonconference contests. UTSPORTS.COM - University of Tennessee Athletics - Football . Those stats strongly suggest that additional "seasoning" would benefit him immensely.

Haha we are going from a 7 or worse win team to national champion contenders? Get a new login ID because you are now on everyone's ignore list.

To be honest If Bray and Hunter leave this season they could likely be missing out on a few million. CP's draft stock has never been higher and I don't see why he would stay for another season. He could use some polish as a WR but I don't see his stock going much higher.

Would be great to get every underclassman back for another season.

Hm, I would say he needs more than polish as a WR. IMO, his route running is awful and needs a good bit more work.

And whether it's CP or the other two, each will sit down and figure out how much more they might make by staying.

But even if the math favors them staying, anyone can make a bad decision...

Dude is gone.
Anyone who thinks differently is a fool.

cp needs another year to work on route running.if you think he doesn't need another year, the same could be said of you..

yes,he is probably gone but his game still needs work.bray and hunter are in the same boat.bray needs another year to mature, learn to read def's and put on another 10 to 15 pounds.hunter needs another year of weight training.he's not physical enough to go up against pro cb's.

Bray has been in four tight games. In each one his failure to make a play when needed to get the victory was the difference between victory and defeat. The NFL looks at how QB's respond to pressure situations. I doubt any of them would risk a high pick on Bray right now.

CP has unique athletic ability. The NFL might take him early. I personally doubt that Hunter is nearly as high on club draft boards as McShay thinks. Teams will watch his film closely and note how many balls he's dropped this season.

Bray reminds me a lot of Ryan Leaf

Regardless of what we think many analyst have him as a second rounder. Mainly because of his arm strength.
