I’ve been one of the biggest critics of Pruitt, but it’s clear now that the struggles thus far in his tenure were due to youth, the transition to a new system, and atrocious decisions from JG.

This team has vastly improved and is competing. Pruitt is the right guy and as long as he can keep getting solid players he will turn this around.

100% agree...... Prewitt will change this team in time. Vastly improved from the Georgia State game.

I'll wait to see what we do the rest of the way before I go there. We have 5 games left, all winnable.

I like Pruitt too. Like watching him get fired up out there and not going soft on 'em. He also called out the refs on their bs tonight at halftime. That and watching him call all those timeouts at the end of the half to ice the kicker gave me a good laugh.

I had sincere concerns about him being a bammer. He wanted to win tonight, badly.

He has to turn these games into wins going forward. People are seeing the spark. Need to see the full fire and the finish. If that happens we will win our divided house will start to rally.

I’ve made the mistake of jumping on coaching bandwagons before. Butch being the worst. Came into the Pruitt years not hyped and making him prove it to me before I got excited. He did a great job tonight in my mind. This team has vastly improved from the start of the year and his recruits have already proven themselves. I am hopeful and looking to the future with more optimism.

He get's one more loss and only one more. We play like this the rest of the way we win out. We can afford a slip up, but only against SC or Mizzou. Can't go in unprepared and if Maurer is out you have to go with Shrout.

Nobody wanted to beat Saban more tonight than Pruitt.

My only issue with him tonight is that he gave JG a chance at all. Screw that guy. I'm tired of the "he tries hard" arguments. He is not a good football player at all.
I really don't have too much problem with that. It almost worked.

No thanks. Hopefully the next guy will be better. Although, after Dooley, Butch, and now Pruitt, those odds are long.

Pruitt is a stud. JG & the refs gave this game to Alabama. BM needs to stop being so dramatical on the field. If your hurt then fine, but if your not then stop collapsing all the time.

Back of the head hits are the worst and deadly.

Boxer just died from hitting the back of his head on the mat.

Front of head is meant to take hits but the back is not....at all.

It was just bad luck.

Right now it looks like Pruitt coaches hard in the games that mean a lot to him personally. Growing up a Bammer he hated Auburn and showed it last year. In Pruitt’s eyes tonight’s game was an audition of sorts to replace Saban after he retires.

If he had coached with 75% of this desire against Ga State and BYU then we are sitting at 4-3 instead of 2-5.
