$3 beer bust at Ivy's (on the strip, not the old location). Two for Tuesdays at Rubys on the Strip. Wednesdays at Last Lap then the Library for 3-4-1.

did the lap, library and oci. Hawkeyes animal hour led to some interesting events, including me reporting my car stolen when it wasn't. Then we started to do the old city thang. Lucilles, all those other clubs. Friends of ours worked at that Mexican restaurant down there so they would treat us right.
I really don't remember many nights on the strip where there wasn't a fight close by. Not kidding.

how did you take notes without a laptop?

-pens
-TA's notes or carbon copies
-worst part was having to go to the library, look up subjects, go find them on the shelves, and write a report by citing various books. That took effort and patience. Today, google and it's done for you.

How many times did you drive drunk? Over under 50.

I wasn't usually driving. Too many, but I would say probably a dozen or so. I was drunk when I had my one car accident. What a stupid kid. I wish I could go back and talk some sense into him. But I can't.
So you just go ahead and stamp your form son, because frankly, I don't give a ****.

not quite sure what you're talking about here but the original (and very first) Ruby Tuesdays was on in the building on the corner of 26th and Cumberland. Same building with Sefanos and Antonio's - home of the $1.99 pitcher.

Ruby's has been there since 1972

did you figure out the elusive rubix cube?

no. never really could get more than one side. No patience. I either pulled the stickers off and put them back on, took the cube apart and put it back together, or gave the Chinese kid my sweet and sour chicken for doing it for me

-There weren't message boards or internet then, so if someone really didn't belong we actually told them to gtfo in person
-Fortran was the computer class and we spent weeks trying to make a loop on the screen like a bunch of dumbasses
-Shooting an M16 in military science probably isn't allowed anymore
-there was one guy on campus that took really, really long strides at the same pace walking to his classes and his shorts were so short, sac hung out on hot days

I was a freshman in '89. I remember Fortran, the computer lab in the bottom of Glocker, and the that walker dude.
