No specific talk about the numbers game. Stated we would take the "takes" and figure out the numbers. We would need to take the guys that make us the best at all positions. Gavin Bryant and Treyvon Paulk would really be the only ones he could see that might leave for their individual reasons.
Dimarya Mixon adds depth
Adoree Jackson seems to be looking at us in a new light after a good visit.
Gaining momentum with Josh Malone. Butch told Josh that he is the number 1 priority
There is no reason to believe anyone won't be in this class. Stop mentioning recruits that could leave. They read this.
On topic though, no way we sign over 30. IF Butch had found a loophole like this he likely wouldn't have told a soul. He and Hart would probably be the only ones who knew they'd take more. He wouldn't risk this getting out at all.
We could sign 100 players, but only 25 plus back counts can enroll next fall. Listen to bruin its initial counters that matter, not the number of signees.
Yes unless you are speaking of pell grants.
Any institutional money including academic money would be the same as an athletic scholarship
I was thinking that CBJ could get some on academic scholorships and TN lottery grants. They would be classed as "walk ons", but they wouldn't have to pay for school. They could get an athletic scholly, if needed, in year 2. Given that Cheek wants to "support" athletics then he might go along with it. BTW, the 25 limit is a SEC rule not a NCAA rule. The only rulenthat the NCAA has is the 85nrule, I believe.
