Not a crazy argument, but I need to see the BYU game first to see if we show up.
I can't people are dumb enough to let one game be a sure fire guarantee of what will and what won't happen the rest of the schedule. So many people here that "know" what will happen but still in the poor house cause they can't use that knowledge to win the lotto.
My goodness!
The East is so weak this year and i think our talent on the roster will start to show up soon. Recruiting rankings dont lie just hang in their men.
The East may be weak, unfortunately we are the weakest
Agree, I wasn't left feeling better. It's my opinion, if he rotates like he did last week, we lose. He better figure things out "early" this week and roll with it. JMOAfter reading that I feel worse about the offensive coaching staff. The fact that they don't comprehend that an offensive line, only plays well as a unit, and that if you don't practice the line as a unit, it will not improve blows my mind.
I won't be surprised one bit, if they come out on Saturday against BYU and try to rotate them again.
Did find this part interesting though for the people that were still complaining about oline protection being a problem:
In terms of the group's collective performance, Pruitt noted how well the Vols protected quarterback Jarrett Guarantano until allowing four sacks in the second half (only one was truly down to an offensive line mistake)
“All the guys that played at times played really well,” he said. “I think for the first 55 plays of the game, we didn’t give up a sack or a quarterback pressure. The last 20 plays of the game, we gave up four sacks. Not all that’s on the offensive line.

It’s a lot of the same players. And I think the broader point is that it might be more a product of culture and coaching.
We shall see.
"Weak" is pretty subjective.
Vandy lost to Gerogia who is head and shoulders above everyone else in the division right now.
Florida looked bad against Miami....but still won and Miami at least is a known program in an P5 conference.
SC lost against UNC and kinda blew it, and lost their QB a while; but again UNC is at least a P5 team.
Kentucky beat an average MAC team at home and didn't look great, but then again they do this pretty much every season. Of course we still beat them last year so this actually might be a W.
Missouri lost at Wyoming. Wyoming isn't great but they have been a pretty good MWC team in recent memory.
So yeah overall seems weak but when you compare all their games to ours, ours is by far the worst performance of the weekend. So yeah we'll probably beat some of these guys but at the same time they're all saying the same thing about us right now.
We have all seen this show before, so based on past experience, we are able to make a confident prediction in how our team will react. It's really not complicated. Oh, and if you think it is based on only one game.... shame on you.
