I was a middle schooler, watching the game at home. About midway through the 3rd quarter, while we were making a comeback, we had to go to a church choir concert that my sister was in. I tried my hardest to convince my parents to let me stay home, but they didn’t cave. I was so mad, mainly because we had to get there an hour early, for my sister’s final rehearsal before the performance. I finally convinced my dad to let me listen to the game on the radio in the car until the performance started.
So all from John Ward, I heard about the snap that was centered over the Arky punter’s head, us turning the ball back over to Arky on downs, the stumble and fumble, and Travis Henry carrying us home. It was a wild sea of emotions, all in a church parking lot.
