It’s way too early in the off season for such a silly thread . This is middle to late season stuff here . Right before we start in with the 10-2 ( we will beat bama ) and 6-6 (still don’t think we can beat vandy) threads .

There have been some "notable" posts claiming much dislike for Tee because he won Peyton's championship. I want to put numbers to the claim. I called BS

Would just like to add, most of thise handing out **** have been notably absent from the threads this is a response to. Just vote and move on.

I havw made my issues with Tee known and it has nothing at all to do with Peyton. Tee is still my favorite QB.

"Understood. However, the anti-Tee-ism began long before his declining to return. Some never forgave him for winning the NC that "should have been Peyton's." This goes way back."

There is nothing but love between those two.
They're two guys living busy lives.

It's ridiculous there are people like the OP who try to attach their preconceived trashy narrative to the 1998 Vols National Champs.
Mainly because who the QB was...

Peyton was one of the FIRST people to call Tee later that evening in Tempe.

Peyton will probably be a billionaire one day, and may go down as the best QB of all time. Won a Super Bowl!

Tee Martin won a National Championship and has went on to have a very productive career.

People have fabricated some loser story that Peyton feels robbed?? Gtfooh....
Both men don't care about any of that crap, and are far more blessed than you or your kind will ever be OP.

I suggest you rewatch football highlights of UT from 1996-1999 so that you can try to gauge greatness. It may help boost your perspective and who knows; maybe even show you how petty and dumb you and your kind are being.

I won't hold my breath...
But stop trying to interject with your negative trash into what is a good moment in UT football, with Tee coming back as a coach...

I actually don't know......ROFL I did this post in about three visits to the keyboard. I'm trying to get whoever on VN that has made the claim that they don't like Tee because he won P's championship to step up. Too bad you can't edit the question. One of my rare grammar **** ups.
