Davonte's skinny as yardstick, but I already love the potential in his game. Watching the 16 minute highlights, Ticket was involved in all sorts of plays, disruptive on D and even defending down low, all 178 pounds of him. Davonte is high energy, and his length is such an asset. My favorite play of his so far was when he used his long arms to battle and tap in a missed free throw at around 14:39 on the highlights.
Drew is crafty and long as well. He should have been credited with about 4 blocks, as he got a phantom foul on one and hurried another couple of shots with tenacity down low and later quickness defending the perimeter. He's going to be a handful on offense and defense as he gains experience. Incredible to think that he could've had 12 points in 8 minutes of action if he had knocked down all his free throws. Also I like the way he blocks shots -- like GW, he keeps the ball in play when advisable instead of slinging it into the stands. And he made a nifty outlet pass after a steal to Ticket for a slam.
