And then it wasn't.

And the people, who only have their voices, stood up and said "hell no". As many have pointed out, it united this fan base like nothing else in a decade. Everyone agreed. Everyone had enough. "Hell no". In a matter of a few hours, the push back was so strong that those in power had no choice but to listen.

I know that Tennessee fans are catching hell in some places, but I can only put myself in your shoes and say "I get it".

99gator, that was one of the best posts I've read on this forum by Vol or otherwise...it's obvious you have a good read of the recent history of Vol athletics, and your take on it is very much appreciated by this Vol. Congrats on y'alls recent hire; hopefully both programs will one day get back to the point of being consistently competitive!

The truth is the truth - a downward spiral that's failed to be noted.

When I was a student we were good in swimming, women's basketball, track, baseball, tennis plus football. It's as 99Gator wrote - the administration.

Living in Austin I've watch the Univ of Texas Athletic Dept crumble and programs go to hell.

The cancer is in the administration - Currie is a bean counter, not a leader.
