This was not his first strike. There was at least 3 strikes in what the world was witness to once this came to light

A grateful person would have said yes sir officer whatever I need to do to clear this up. So boo hoo yourself. Enabling is not what is needed. Accountability is. It's called life.

My one strike you're out is from this day going forward. I have no doubt Jeremy Banks hasn't been an angel up to this point. Kid is misguided and may never wake up. If that's the case, boot him, however put him on a very very very short leash and don't cave when and if he repeats. Like I said "very easy to kick a kid off the team". The benefit outweighs the risk. Hell yes, free up that scholarship if he can't get it through is head what being a responsible adult is all about. I think it's worth a shot, as long as everyone knows he is on a VERY short leash. And I'll repeat, I too was very disgusted on what he said in that police car. I won't lose any sleep for Jeremy Banks if he continues his current path, but give him a chance.

If this is what coach decides then I am on board. My wish that he get his second chance somewhere else does not mean that I don't want him to overcome his issue. I am past disgusted in that when something as outrageous as this happens the crowd who is always sympathetic regardless of the details are here to tell us that we don't understand them. Well guess what I don't care if you think I don't understand them. But it doesn't mean I wish ill for Jeremy.

If any of you don't think there are people on this forum that are against Banks return and won't hope that he does something to get kicked off the team just so they can come here and say "I told you so", you're crazy.

I don't want anyone to mistake how I feel about this.

I personally think what he did was worse than what some here think. It really does bother me that he said all that crap about shooting cops. I hate the little jacklegs attitude from the videos and if Pruitt decided to not let him back, I'd be 100% behind him.

That said, I still don't know how good of a coach Pruitt is but I like him and I trust him to do what he thinks is best, for all involved and if he allows Banks back, I'm behind him 100% on that too.

These people that don't know everything Pruitt does that think they know best and have the balls to tell me what Im feeling by saying I just feel this way because hes a good football player.....are the ones up on a friggin high horse. Its laughable.

Lookit, Flyer, the vids showed unacceptable behavior. Banks was off the team for how long? He was not kicked to the curb, but it is not like he has suffered no consequence. He had to become civilized, or he'd be cut loose. I am not a wise man or behavioral specialist. We all know there are valid arguments for both sides of this, so I will let the responsible people make the decisions and do their jobs. Banks might mature pdq or he might never get his head screwed on straight. If he gets another chance, I hope he appreciates who and where he is, manages to mature better than I did, learns how to act civilized, gets more self control, stops acting out, carries himself with more awareness, loses the thug attitude, and develops dignity and mental discipline. A 3.3 GPA represents a lot of work, definitely a good indication.
