I am enormously proud

Some of you are also overlooking they played over half the game without Tua

LOL. We were still playing quite possibly the most stacked, star studded team in the country who replaces every starter with another line of 4 and 5 star elite athletes recruited by every major school in the United States. We also lost our best QB and played what may be the worst on our roster for most of the game. Outside of a couple throws, JG looked awful and cost us the game with an overthrown, WIDE OPEN EASY WALK IN touchdown, AND what was arguably the dumbest decision of his career on the "sneak." I'd say it was still a fair fight without Tua, all things considered.

Despite some terrible decisions by JG, and a few things simply not going our way (Maurer injury), our Vols played incredibly well against the #1 team in the nation. We’re obviously not where we want to be yet, but this is a huge step forward from where we were when we lost to Ga. St.
