Hypothetical Situation...

A new coach wouldn't have time to secure them. They sign Dec 21st and are EE's. I love how you seem to think a few juco guys can't make a difference. Need a history lesson last is only one year old????

3 JUCOs did absolutely nothing last year for Tennessee

Does Dooley actually give you hope of ten wins? We're likely going to have a staff half full of scrubs next year. No good coach is going to jump on this ship.

10 not so much. 8 maybe 9 darn right. I have already stated my opinion of hiring new staff members.

So two five win seasons and he MIGHT have a problem? SMH

sure might. what if he does. they put out feelers and can get no nibbles for any amount of money that they feel is better. what do they do?? they keep what they got...

Are you referring to the JUCO guys from 2011 class? Last I looked, this team regressed.

I never doubted you, zjc. But, the timing of it makes you look pretty impressive, I'll admit.

Trust me, it's nothing special. I have no special sources in UTK or Michigan, which I actualy care about lol

We have typical dysfunction in a team devoid of leadership. My only fear is that the guys getting older never learned what leadership is. That would be true for any coach coming in. Look at what FL posters said about the Meyer squad at the end of last year. Supposedly they refused to get off the bus and practice in pads. That was rumored to be the entire offense and they got what they wanted. Fast forward to this year for the gators sprinkled with injuries like us, not much better. The offensive unit sat on the bus at KY. It's a mess no matter what they do to bandaid it. It will take new good players challenging the cocky ones we have now to truly get crap back in order. Our best shot at that appears to me to be one more year of DD and the recruits and then see if light bulbs go on or out.

2 of the 3 were darn good. One is going to be special.

Lanier was "darn good"?

I missed all those plays he made.

It's probably because the camera couldn't get him in the picture due to the WR having 8 yards of separation

he will be coach if entire staff leaves all 9

Not smart on the AD department if thats the truth. Dooley might have walked into a mess, but he has proven absolutely nothing other than being able to recruit at a national level. He wasn't a winner at his previous job, and he hasn't shown anything to prove he will be a winner at Tennessee. Why keep him when we can afford a proven winner to come coach our Vols?

Well might as well not worry about it. Hopefully this team matures and finds out it's a team game in the offseason. If not, we'll not have to worry about hypotheticals next year. Sucks we'll have to sit through it again but that's what is going to happen.

As far as sellouts at the stadium, doubt they get one next year.
