Hyams on OC

Oh, the eval of Pruitt is at 11 games, 2 good ones and 9 not so good ones.
Oh, so back to overall picture evaluations.

The evaluation of Pruitt is 5-7 (which equals 12). That's following 4-8. They don't care how you win em' or how you lose em'. There won't be an asterisk by the record that says "2 good ones"

If Brohm can't petition the NCAA to disqualify AU for assault, he has gonna have as many L's as Pruitt.

I agree on someone he's comfortable with...I personally think it's Sark or Chip Long from ND, both who he knows. If it's Long, you'd figure announcement Monday after they get beat by Clemson...but my guess as good/or bad as anyone.

he is really close with Kitchens... if Kitchens inclined to get back into college

I misread the title and though we were hiring Hyams as our OC

We should just rotate Volnation members as OC on a weekly basis. We get to assess the opponent, prepare the offense, and call plays. Each game, the acting OC gets the weekly portion of our last OC’s salary. At the end of the season, we get to compare and contrast each VN “coach”. The highest rated person gets the job for 2020. I will volunteer for Game 1.

Hyams just reported today that UT will have to hire a new offensive coordinator as the current one is going to leave. He came back after the commercial break and gave an update that he has had an insider report stating our OC has already left so things are moving swiftly.

I'll do Game 2 as long as I get a portion of the salary that would have been paid plus a high speed internet connection to VN during the game. I would take suggestions for the play from our local experts.

That’s crazy enough to work. Opposing DC’s couldn’t prepare bc they wouldn’t know what’s coming. Dobbs4Heisman has to go first.

Hyams also said Brohm was our new head coach before Pruitt was hired so there is that...…….

Can we please get over everything that happened in those two weeks? That was a cluster**** from Hell, and somebody over there was throwing around misinformation left and right. And Brohm would have been one Helluva hire!

It doesn't matter what kind of hire Brohm would have been. That wasn't the point of the comment. The point was Hyams was wrong again.

Well, you whizzy little point was obvious. But even if it was wrong, it would have been nice if he had been right.

The team looked like trash in 3 of those wins. They looked like trash in all of the losses.
Funny how we can use moral victories and little improvements in losses to suggest things are looking better, but we cant do the same in a win where ther team looks like trash.
So again Pruitts team had two good performances last season.

Pruitt could do much worse, Sark is pretty decent. Avg in the NFL (11th this year, 15 last) but their is only 32 of those jobs in America, they don’t hand them out if they consider you ho-hum
They don't fire you for being good either and he's gonna get fired. Maybe the NFL just doesn't suit him but his overall body of OC work is mixed IMO.
Our problem is UTAD has looked at hires as "lets get pretty decent" and its gotten us here. I want Pruitt to offer / hire who he is gonna depend on to get UT back and run the offense that he wants to win in the SEC. I want that person to WANT to be in Knoxville to help us get there. So far I don't think those two have met yet but maybe its done who knows.

Who is "we" in regard to moral victories?

Pruitt was 5-7 in his first season. No better, no worse.

You seem to have a nack for taking comments and totally misrepresenting what is actually said.

Is 5 wins better than 4?

JP needs an OC he is comfortable with so he can be the HC and help the defense come along. If it's a no name that's fine as long as he's good. Butch's no name coaches were the best group he had and every upgrade didn't work out except for Wilcox.
Couldn’t agree more with this and this is the first time anyone has ever stated they also believe it. I think Butch would have won the East in 2016 (I think?) had he kept his original crew.
