Please let the Hyams jokes pass on by...

Hyams source gave him these notes

-Mullen likes A&M
-Jimbo also likes A&M
-Mullen a great coach, labeled a "weird duck" was widely disliked by people at UF
- Shiano would jump on the UT job, would be a bad fit, very unlikeable
-Fuente does not like to move around
-Frost likely to Nebraska, if not Nebraska may stay put
-No way Patterson leaves
-Gundy not as happy as years past, but wife loves it there

UT search very cloudy with no clear frontrunner.

I have a hard time seeing Mullen take an in-division gig after spending 9 years at MS State.

Schiano does not belong on our list. If Hyams is right about this color me depressed.

That is why I have been saying since the UGA loss that we will again get our 10th pick; however; the 10th pick this off season is much better than the 10th pick several years ago.
We won't get the guy we truly want but we will get someone slightly better than Dooley and Jones. Will still be an upgrade though.

He listed 15 coaches and per his source none of them are going to coach here.

I watched Hyams on the Sports Source TV show Sunday and he was PO'd at the fans calling in to his radio show.
Well, I've got news for that turd, if he is upset that the fans want the best coach money will buy that is their right. I am tired of his constant nagging that Tennessee can't get a great coach from another power 5 school (or Gruden). He acts like he is the be all know all of TN football and he doesn't know anymore than I do about who the next coach is going to be.

To be clear, Jimmy has a source he says he knows people. Jimmy just went down a list and said "what have you heard about these coaches" and these were the answers he got.

Only thing that sounded fairly concrete about UT is that Fuente and Patterson are unlikely to go anywhere.

He didn't say Schiano was even on the list, he just asked the source would he take the job.

He wasn't negative, he wasn't positive he simply said he has a source that had info on various coaches associated with openings and here's some info on them.
