I've be glued to Irma coverage and have a question. How far has Irma traveled and continued strengthening since first forming?
When our backs are against the wall we still help each other.
Watching the news they showed a Weather Channel SUV driving in Miami. They made it through but if they got stuck I wouldn't have ordered emergency workers to rescue them. I will never understand people who don't evacuate or those who are out in these events.

Along these lines, Jose still remains a strong Cat 4 out in the Atlantic. Provided most of the forecast models show it staying well away from any landfall at the moment, it could make a turn depending on what happens over the next day or so.
Last I heard it was supposed to hit those little Caribbean islands that got absolutely leveled. I really hope that doesn't happen, on one island I think they said 95% of all buildings were gone.
Looks like a fine time to take your high performance car out on the runways and push it to the limits.
