Or they just remember on the field issues like dropped passes and personal fouls because a db got physical with you and you had to act out.
Still can't believe he caught that. Was a terrible throw honestly. DR bailed Bray, and the whole team out with that catch.
Scouts laugh at the comparison between Rogers and Hunter. Thats not a knock on Rogers, but Hunter is just an incredible talent.
Agreed. Another issue with DR is one of his strengths is his size and power. But that said, he hates DBs getting physical with him. Something he will see at an exponentially higher rate from college to the NFL.

His coaches and SEC coaches laugh at the notion that DR is on the same level as Hunter. Coaches or players do not fear DR and feel the best way to defend him is press man coverage not zone. I don't understand why this offends fans.
For Roger's size, he is not that physical.
Thats what Buck Fitzgerald says when this same argument got brought up on VQ. He talks to scouts regularly and they say the same thing.
Hunter has more touchdowns against SEC teams in one year then Darick has in 2 years combined.Da'rick Rogers career stats:
25 games 78 receptions 1207 yards 15.5 yds/rec long 58 11 tds 48.3 yds/game (2010 12.8 yds/game brings avg way down. 2012 yds/game is 86.7)
2011 AP all sec first team
2011 coaches all sec second team
Justin hunter career stats:
16 games 33 receptions 729 yards 22.1 yds/rec long 81 9 tds 45.6 yds/game (2010 avg also brings this down. Hunter was averaging over 100 yds/game in 2011 before getting hurt.)
This proves my earlier point. Da'rick is just better right now. I think hunter has more potential, but that doesn't always translate no matter how bad you want it too. Da'rick is a known commodity, hunter isn't yet. As much as I like Tyler, you can't argue he isn't in the same boat. Only time will tell. A college coach can take a chance on potential, a gm is going to take the known commodity. I also disagree that Da'rick isn't physical for his size. Utsports.com (where I got these stats) has him listed at 6-3 208 and I saw a guy who relished contact and constantly broke double teams while getting jammed at the line, and I saw every game last year and went to several. Hunter is listed at 6-4 200 btw. Also, how many receivers have never dropped a ball their whole career? The same people who complain about the few balls dr dropped are the same people who claim arian foster fumbled atleast twice per carry. 80% of the catches dr had last year went for either a first down or a touchdown, yet all anyone talks about is the dropped pass against USCe.

Are you unaware of the fact that Hunter was on pace to blow Da'Rick out of the water until the injury last year? Surely your memory isn't that bad.
Understandable, and I hope it remains that way. The stats speak for themselves, which is my point. By the end of the year ask me the same question and I hope I can say hunter, but right now dr has the experience, the accolades, and is more complete. I am in no way trying to diminish hunter, make no mistake about that. Im just answering the question honestly with current info. Dr is better right now. I hope Jhunt can come off this injury, pick up where he left off, and blow out the record books
All this proves is that Hunter was better before he got hurt.
Hunter benefited from two pretty good senior receivers his freshman year. That's just honest. His routes were pretty straight forward. Run down field and jump higher than the other guy while dmo and gjones are drawing coverage. Last year he was tearing it up, looked like he knew all his routes and was running crisp, better knowledge of the offense than dr. But he got hurt. If he hadn't, who knows? If ifs and buts were candy and nuts I'd sell them and buy a #11 jersey.
