Huh? He made some great plays tonight. Fought hard for YAC.

. . . so have many of the fans that had been holding on to hope.

Hate to say it, but there will a significantly greater amount of Crimson in the stadium next week than past years, and empty seats after that.

Exactly, he was only targeted 4 times I think. Two were bad throws by Bray and the other two Hunter made good plays on. Not sure what OP is seeing that would even remotely suggest he's checked out.

Now if you said that about our defense......

I don't know that he has checked out, but I really believe he is playing scared. Last year's injury may not be hindering his body, but it is tormenting his mind. There have been several times this year where he did not make a play because he was thinking about the contact. Any normal man would probably have the same problem. He needs to overcome this or he will never be back to the fearless Hunter we saw prior to the injury.

This is what I'm seeing; you said it better than me.

Hunter hasn't been the same since the knee injury which is not surprising. Whether it's trying to prevent another injury for the NFL or just scared he isn't the same. Still though he isn't really the problem on this team.

I certainly don't think he is the problem. His fear is perhaps a product of the problem. The problem is that we do not have leaders on the field. There is nobody there that can look the rest of the team in the eyes and believingly say, "We've got this!"

My only issue w/ Hunter is him running backwards.. I know he's trying to make something happen, but i'd rather to see him put his head down and fight straight ahead for those extra yards.

Hunter is not Hunter from last year. Far from it. Miss St took it to Hunter, CP and Rivera.

Rivera might as well have stayed in Knoxville.

CP was the only reason this team was in this game because of his KO return and reverse and TD catch.

Still, Hunter had two catches, CP had 2 catches and Rivera had 1. That's unacceptable.

Both figuratively and literally. He hasn't been himself this year and what's up with running backward several times last night

I don't like to bash players. However, the smiling after a back breaking drop bothers me. Okay, okay....truthfully it pisses me off to the point of no return! His body language out there tells it all.

Doesn't speak well for the NFL to hear his name mentioned as a possible 1st round pick. Hasn't proved it on the field, in my opinion.

Last night, Hunter appeared to just mail it in. He will face corners as good or better than last night every time he lines up in the NFL. He needs good games against good Ds to impress the pros. Step in up this week JH.

I enjoyed seeing him go back, etc... In college, the best players can find holes and make big plays by doing things like that. Kelley Washington showed more than once that he was a man among boys when he caught the ball in open space... Watch Reggie Bush highlights and you will see similar moves... He's a good player, your expectations were just too high for someone coming back from an ACL injury (and, no, it is not fair to compare him to Adrian Peterson who is just a freak and seems to have been able to come back from acl ridiculously quick)

Hunter only cares about the money for his new kid... he has not played well at all most of the season. stone hands needs to step up and catch the ball. he has become the old zach rogers.

It's the drops and not getting off press coverage that stands out the most. Not getting off the coverage may have a little something to do with the ACl, but not the drops.. He's just not playing well for whatever reason..
