If thats over a 2 or 3 year period I agree. 1 season hardly allows you to get fully entrenched. Good or bad.

Most of the negative opinions on Clawson come from UT fans. A lot of other people think he's a very good coach and his year at UT didn't define him.

Perception is a problem. It doesn’t matter if the HC let them do their thing or keeps them on a tight leash, when a team isn’t performing to standard every person in a responsible position, they get the microscope treatment too, whether deserved or not.

It’s more difficult to get promoted from an underperforming situation.

I've always been the smallest guy in the fight, and I have taken Martial arts. I've learned that the rear naked choke works best when I'm in fact naked. Freaks the other guy out, and he can't even fight it off.

I could see this as being a concern/problem just in innuendo because this is the world we live in and any negativity is negative and provides decision makers ammunition not to hire whether it is true or false.....going into a hire you look for exit points if things go awry like most state is where we are at influx....
