AV HINTED, at least this is what most people think, that Freeze is the guy; however, AV did state we will know Monday or TUESDAY! Personally, I think AV is a solid source who likes to play from time to time.

Pruitt wasted no time interviewing Freeze. Phil did tell Pruitt to do his due diligence by interviewing other coaches, to make sure he was getting the best fit. Maybe time was lost with the process, but I suspect that the holdup, if there is a holdup, involves Freeze wanting to hire a few of his own assistants. That would cost some real money and require a bit of time. As a successful former HC, Freeze might want and expect to bring some of his own guys on staff. Add the fact that other options are developing for him and his agent to work and I think Fulmer greenlights what Freeze wants pdq or Freeze talks to somebody who will. jmho
