I agree with your angle however I would add that if the OC ends up being Friend then Pruitt's remaining tenure at UT would be less than three years (probably less than two).

Not at all what I was alluding to in my post and wasn’t disagreeing with you at all. I don’t think (don’t know for sure) anyone really 100% believed he was coming here, it was just fun for us at the time, like this thread has become somewhat. Why else is this thread going, instead of it dying? Just enjoy it. Your prerogative, like anyone else.

That's great if you can pay for it. But you can't want the House of Haslam to pull out completely and still expect to get their money for coaches. Not unless you still believe Ergen is going to ride up on his white horse

I think a lot of people just feel like whoever is in charge doesn't care about winning like us fans want. I have no clue who's in charge, and has nothing to do with gruden. It was pretty obvious during the HC search that they didn't care Imo.

UT doesn't need Haslam to pay Freeze 2-3 million dollars for a couple years

I was agreeing with you too. I want nothing more than to have a replay of my youth and college years in Neyland. I just don't believe this one OC hire is one guy or shut it all down

I agree. I hope a lot does also. No reason for anyone to throw out the baby with the bath water yet.
