Actually, I'm feeling more comfortable about Herman for the simple reason that we already have a quality (second tier to my mind) DC aboard. Might be a lethal combo. The one negative I have on Herman (aside from overall record) is that his offense isn't plug-and-play (essentially what the people here are saying when they complain that Butch would have been nowhere without Dobbs). The QB has to carry the ball A LOT for it to be effective. There are some that are at least closer to plug-and-play, that could work well with Bailey OR Salter.Well sorry but there not many guys out there that is a realistic choice that is going to meet all the criteria. Be honest how many guys out there has that sparkling record that doesn't look like Butch Jones at Tennessee that is going to be able to come in and update our offense and put it where it needs to be. Jamey Caldwell or Billy Napier would be my second guy but because Herman has had power 5 experience he would get my first call.
