Hey I’d hire him to Tennessee in a heartbeat if I could......even now, and even with possible violations.

I can’t......and no one wants “me” to do any kind of coaching hire.

However the problem comes “if” Tennessee is in trouble with the NCAA.

“If” Pruitt did indeed pay some 3 stars......like the numb nutz he is.........they will be hard pressed to fire him (for that reason) and hire Freeze........as much as I wish they would.

We were supposed to get a freeze and maybe a little snow at my house. All we got was some rain.

This feels like foreshadowing.

Freeze is a convicted cheap according to the NCAA. Why would you want hire him in the mist of an investigation at UT? I’m hearing the hammer will fall hard on us. Plus I doubt the SEC will allow Freeze to coach in this conference. Saban tried to hire him in an off field job and the commissioner said NO!

Why?

Lets go back to 2004 and the recruitment of Michael Oher. Oher was a big target for Fulmer and Tennessee. Back then, Fulmer pulled anyone he wanted out of Tennessee.

Freeze was the HC at Briarcrest, where Oher played. Regardless of what you saw in the movie, The Blind Side, Oher was already an established football player that didnt need to be taught by Leigh Anne Touhy how to block.

Now, it is understood that Freeze has always wanted to coach at Tennessee.

Now the nexr is pure speculation on my part. Lets say Freeze approaches Fulmer with the option of " I get hired, you get Oher"? Fulmer refuses because he knows it could be a possible recruiting violation

Enter the Touhy's. They are both boosters for Ole Miss and they hate Tennessee. They are also Oher's adoptive parents. Oher ends up at Ole Miss and Freeze ends up getting hired at Ole Miss. Hence, my speculation in the paragraph above

If that were the case, then there is no way Fulmer would hire him

IMO, Fulmer would have to go as well for Freeze to be hired at UT

South Carolina checked into him and the SEC has cleared Hugh Freeze to coach in the SEC.

Recently for big games espn will have a showing of the game on one channel and a simultaneous showing of the game with various coaches giving their commentary and feedback on another channel. Hugh is working the National title game and I have to say man it would be great to hire this guy. Now!

Should be obvious but then again we’re Tennessee and we’ll find a way to mess it up.

At first, I felt like Freeze was not the right call, but he has grown on me.

I'd like to see Kiffin, but they're not going to pay his 5 mil buyout clause.

Freeze was all in during November and dreamed about being UT's HC, but he's gone silent since the investigation blew wide open.
