You are correct. There isn’t a guy right now, we have to let this play out. I have said this over and over, if their was a no brainer that was available then we would have him.
Freeze has a low ceiling because he will never be able to recruit against the coaches in the SEC. We need a high ceiling coach that at least has a chance with 5 star and top notch 4 star recruits. Tom Herman, Jim Harbaugh, Gus Malzahn, all these will most likely be available next year and that would be worth the wait. Give Phil 8 years to get his Saban like Mal Moore got at Bama.
