They lost the appeal.

Just to be clear. You're okay with SOME sanctions for UT???? Missouri got 1 year post season ban, a few scholarship reductions in 2 or 3 sports. Is that acceptable?

My contention is that Hugh Freeze brings am increased scrutiny by the NCAA. While we're good at how we handle things, attention from the NCAA is not good.

Dude he took over the worst Ole Miss ever. A place where its way harder to recruit than UT. I mean WAY harder. Their stadium is awful, its the middle of nowhere, their facilities are not even on the same planet. With our resources, he wins HUGE.

Matt Campbell is on the verge of winning a conference title at a much tougher job than Ole Miss. Real winners win no matter where they are. I am not at all sold that Freeze is a savior.

It is definitely not much tougher to move up there in that conference. Yes, he is a good coach, but he is a Midwest guy, he isnt a great fit. Freeze worked in Memphis and across the south, it is a no brainer and perfect fit and his dream job.

LOL you actually buy that “dream job” crap? He’s only making that up because he knows no other job would consider hiring him right now. South Carolina didn’t even interview him. He already had his real dream job and he blew it. He was born in Oxford and he pushed every SEC caliber recruit he coached at Briarcrest to go to Ole Miss.
