I'm the exact opposite of you: Born in 1961 into a family of UT fans, so have been a fan my entire life, but the hiring of Hugh Freeze would put an end to that. (As far as football goes.)There you have it folks.
To be clear, and someone should probably inform Phillip Fulmer and Jimmy Haslam about this, but the only way I will remain a Tennessee fan is if we hire Hugh Freeze. That's the only way guys... and I'm not sorry about it. I've hung with them for longer than they deserve. The ball is in UT's court.
No it's not, it was at the end of the 18 season and the rule still hasn't changed, if Freeze is hired anywhere in the SEC at any position then it will only come with the approval of Sankey. Nobody challenged the rule when Saban tried and I doubt they will challenge it if TN tries. Sankey has told folks privately that it probably would not happen under his watch. I don't think it happens anywhere in the SEC this year.Article is going on three y/o. Ole Miss comes off probation this year and it won't stop Freeze from coming back to SEC if the offer presents itself..
