To liberals.....only middle aged white Christian men are capable of this....

Cam is just having fun and if you call him out you are just plainly a racist.

....I personally like Cam, he is a ****ing baller and was mvp of the season plus he helped win me some fantasy football money!

It's always a double standard witht he left though....always....

Someone always has to make it political.

Click bait.

Highly inflammatory title for an article about a well respected sportsman? Check
Likely inflammatory information in said article? Probably a Check
Guaranteed to get the dander up of at least three fan bases? Check

I'll pass.

I would call it flame bait, not click bait. Click bait is reserved for intentionally misleading titles written in order to lure people onto a site. Flame bait achieves the same goal of getting views by intentionally writing to anger a particular group. Both are equally low level writing.

Mark Levin calls this rag the huffing and puffington post. I'm ashamed I honored this 60 year old virgin with a mouse click. Peyton just won his 200th game because of white privilege? Please...I stopped reading at this point.

Mark Levin.:good!:

Two Words If Manning Decides to Retire: Good Riddance

I think maybe I just got Trolled by this clown disguised as a writer for the Huffington Post, but I thought maybe some of the Vol faithful may want to put this dude in his place.

No worries Admiral....anyone affiliated with Huffpo, real or imagined, is a clown.

Edit: those liberal, Marxist sack of ish gals at Huffpo....what part of Peyton Manning the last 18 years in the NFL has exuded an obnoxious sense of entitlement? The reason Peyton is loved and admired is in large part because of how he handles himself in a selfless, gracious manner. Damn, I just loathe a-holes like the sissies at Huffpo....what an embarrassment they are.

So let me get this straight...This guy is berating PM because he believes that Peyton has been coddled because of some sort of agenda invented by the media and his "pampered" up-bringing,.....

and at the same time he portrays Iverson as a humble and gracious athlete, who serves as an example and role model.

OK, sure buddy.

Lmfao. The idiot who wrote this garbage uses Allen Iverson as the poster child for non entitled athletes.

Allen Iverson who thought he was too good for practice. If that's not entitled, what is?

I can't understand why anyone reads the Huffington Post. It is so far left-wing it makes Bernie Sanders look moderate.

The very first problem is Huffington Post. Nothing but a bunch of little pansy liberals who know nothing especially when it comes to sports. I'm sick of hearing about entitlement, white privilege and of course the big go to, racism. Manning and players like him are what is right with sports unlike people like Manziel. Notice how I used a white players name so I won't upset anyone lest they think I'm racist. Peyton has nothing to apologize for nor should he. He has given plenty of his time and money to help others what has the "writer" of the article ever actually done? Just another left winger who thinks that anyone who is successful is a racist, narcissistic white man who is holding down others. Congrats, Peyton and let the haters hate. Living well is the best revenge and the best way to piss off liberals!

While I get quite tired of all the Marxist, Leftist commentary, this article just gives ammunition to that mind set. Peyton has been a class act his entire career. The NFL could only dream all players were as grounded. I mostly avoid biased sources, Left or Right. And, this is why. The writer's mind is warped with bias.

We're all tired of it. Just is what it is.

Manziel is a good example of how arrogance, immaturity and cockiness isn't bound by race. I have similar feelings for both Johnny Football and Superman.

I see the race card played too often. Anybody taking note of the diversity of Beyonce's dance squad? I couldn't follow the lyrics, but I did hear something about "negro nostrils protecting my nose".. or something like that.

What if a squad of blonde girls danced and were singing about how proud they were of their whiteness? It'd go over like a one egg pudding. Double Standard? Perhaps.

After looking at his other articles, I'd rather this guy pull for the other team. Guy is about as looney left-wing as they come.

The article is actually pretty instructive in that it shows what the Manning haters have left in their arsenal. I guess this step they call "denial."

When I think of Manning, a paragraph from this article fits perfectly:

Cam Newton, Donald Trump and the lost virtue of humility | New York Post

After Sunday’s game, win or lose, a remarkable event will occur in the vicinity of Peyton Manning: Opposing players will line up to shake hands with him. That’s the respect that comes with not only being a legendary player but a good man. Manning never humiliated his opponents, never trash-talked them, never forgot the value of sportsmanship. He is the only player ever to win five MVP awards and the only one to beat Tom Brady three times in the postseason. Yet he never acts like he is The Man because he never forgets that he is a man. No one calls him arrogant.

Brilliant. It is the true measure and legacy of the man.
