Tennessee seems to play well in bowl games after losing the SEC championship. I like their chances.

Wisconsin is no LSU the thing is can we over come this loss, I think so because we want to build for next year a win here and we start in a good spot in the ratings wars and everyone knows what that can be like.

Wisconsin's offense for the season was 51% pass, 49% run. The SEC obviously has a different definition of "run only" than the Big Ten.

They've got some good players. Most people know PJ Hill.

Travis Beckum is one of the, if not the best receiving TE in the nation. He's basically a big WR, not very big for a TE, but that can be pulled off in college unlike the NFL.

Then their CB Ikegwuonu is one of the most physical corners in the country. He'll be a 1st rounder in the NFL easily.

It's all about motivation. History proves that Wisconsin gets up to play SEC teams in these Florida bowls. Their fans love to travel south in the middle of winter, so they will bring a big crowd. UT wins if they play with passion and want to be there. However, if they simply go through the motions, still reeling from the SEC Champ game, Wisconsin can and will take it to us.

Please, please, no repeat performance from last year.

I am a Minnesota alum, and when we beat Alabama in the Music City Bowl a few years back, our band played Rocky Top to stick it to them as the clock ran out. We're looking for some of the same when you beat the Alabama of the North in the Outback Bowl. If anyone has any contacts on/with the band, get them to play the Minnesota Rouser, the sconnies will hate it.

fyi - Minnesota v. Wisconsin is the oldest rivalry in college football.

Harvard-Yale is very old, I believe Lehigh-Lafayette is the oldest rivalry in Division I, Arizona-Arizona St. is the oldest in I-A, but Wisconsin-Minnesota is the oldest continuous rivalry in I-A. Notre Dame-Michigan dates back to the 1800s when UM supposedly taught the game to ND, and then beat them 8-0.

Don't worry VOLS... Wisconsin will not be a challenge for you. They were slated to be a big psrt of the Big Ten but flopped like so many other schools this year. You will not lose to Wisconsin.
If you guys just move the chains, and don't kill yourselves trying to push the big play every down and pound the ball down their throats... you'll be fine and wear their over rated defense down. Remember... UT is the #2 team in the SEC... Wisconsin is the #4 team in the Little Ten... there's no comparison.

Wisconsin reminds me of Missippippi State with a better QB .

UT better bring their A game for Wisconsin. I know its a 11:00 a.m kickoff so we might need a little horse crank in the powerade.

So was Alabama, and playing at the same time, that didn't work out too well. And PSU wasn't very good last year either. Cant just roll out the helments and win.

Yeah I feel ya here... I was flamed and banned from another LSU board for claiming we would beat Bama. Some of the worse critics are usually fans. LOL.
