Exactly what travesty are the Christians who aren't in favor of gay marriage imposing on others that "we other Christians" should be speaking out against? I know. How about the 49 people murdered at a gay night club in Orlando. Oh, that's right... that was by someone who was more aligned with Muslim beliefs. However, you might recall that it was a local Chick-fil-A that decided to open on Sunday and provide food for all of those who needed it. Yep... us horrible Christians.

And ftr, there are also many of this "vocal minority" against gay marriage you speak of who aren't even Christians. Shouldn't you be speaking out against them? C'mon... where's your voice?

I had the same problem in Wisconsin....I ordered red eye gravy, biscuits, and iced sweet tea...guy said I can't understand him but I think he said English muffin with Earl Grey :)

Lighten up Francis, I wasn't comparing the actions of the two groups - simply that the majority takes the blame for the small vocal minority due to their silence. Predictably, you seemed to not be OK with that when it was the Christians...

FFS, you yourself managed to analogize the Christianity with BLM but get outraged when it's pointed out that the whole of Islam takes it on the chin because of the radicals? Apparently the scale, not the point managed to trigger you to lose all bowel and bladder control. LOL, my bad.

Back to my point. Don't pretend it's not that big a deal when it's your team and unforgivable when it's another group you disagree with. Either the blind eye turning majority is at least partially culpable through their silence or they aren't. You seem to want it both ways as long as you get to determine the scale on which the comparison is made. Cupcakes and Bunnies, OK - Radical Islam, not so much.

I can't say I'm surprised that you weren't able to connect the dots and instead got defensive about who and not the idea behind the point being contrasted against.

The latest data from Dec 2015 states 54% of all Christians are ok with gay marriage. A majority but only barely, and I said it would be a "complete non issue"; if almost half still have an issue with it, then you cannot declare it a "complete non issue".

So you can get your panties in a wad about my opinions about Christians' view of gay marriage, but it is most certainly supported by "actual facts".

Dang Septic. You typed up this rambling mess and yet you're suggesting that I'm the one who needs to lighten up? It's quite evident who is being defensive (hint: it's not me).

I've read your post twice and it's so all over the place it's almost incoherent. And after rambling on for 4 paragraphs, you still didn't provide any travesties that we Christians "should be culpable for". Seriously, what is it exactly that this vocal minority of Christians are doing that needs to be addressed?

You seemingly can't handle someone disagreeing with you, so your defensive mechanism is to accuse the person who disagrees of "getting his panties in a wad".

I might be going out on a limb here, but I'm thinking you were probably the absolute star of your debate team.
