I agree 100% any sec team could have whipped HawaiiGeorgia had an impressive second half of the season, there's no question about that.
But, let's not crown them based on last night's performance against Hawaii. That game was a total physical mismatch. The Warriors wouldn't have fared much better against Tennessee if the Vols had made the trip to New Orleans.
Hawaii was simply exposed...the same way that Kansas was exposed by Missouri.
You can only hide behind your schedule for so long...eventually, you'll have to line up against a good football team and show what you're made of.
So average play gets you to the SEC championship game? Interesting way to look at it, I guess...
congratulations, you've shaken out on the winning side and as long as you are we'll have a lot of Outback and Peach Bowl appearances to show for it.No matter how many times we tell the NegaVol/Gator fans who post here that fact, they refuse to get it.
And if we finish top 10 those same fans will call it mediocre here.
It strikes me that the Fire Fulmer fans are winless in their cause. That makes their productivity a whole lot worse than 'mediocre.' And if one takes the seasons they keep counting as evidence (9 seems to be the number they use), they should find new leadership who knows its past time to turn the page, IMO.

We didnt look much above average against Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina.
Logically, there are only eight teams that anyone who buys into the 'haven't won an NC since 1999' perspective could support. Two of them play this year meaning there's a 50% random chance of picking the only team who meets that criterion if you choose before the game.
