For me.... it won't. I've had concerns since the start. He answered the recruiting concern almost right away. I personally thought his career strength was player development. The last piece was game day coaching. In year one, he lost to Vandy and shouldn't have. He was outcoached by Franklin. In year two, a winnable UF game slipped through his fingers as he and Muschamp worked hard to prove who could be the most conservative. Last year's foibles are well known and discussed.
His career win % against teams with a winning record is 37%. He's 36% to date at UT. He's 3-18 vs ranked teams when he could easily be 6-12.
Continued failure to beat UF and Bama won't change anything... just affirm that he's not a coach who can compete at the top tier of the SEC.
He's done a great job building and improving the program Sunday through Friday. But he needs to start evening things up with some significant W's.... and more of them than L's.
 here here!
