Another paralell questions; How many times (other than Cut to Ole Miss), have his assisstants been approached by other programs?
that is definitely a utopian viewpoint...it may be true in some cases, but the reality is, o/t CDC, and maybe troop, no one is really looking at anyone on the staff today as possibilities for their program.I think it's more a sign of the assistant's committment to UT. If other programs know a coach is happy where he's at, there less likely to go after them.
I like the fact that we've had long term stability, it definetly helps us recruit..
I would like to see improvement:
Chavis, please work on tackling, and Roper, look at your talent and put the best athlete on the field..
feeling guilty maybe???I still believe the line that Fulmer willl not hire anyone with pizzaz and coaching ability for fear that they will take his job. Look at the history, guys who can coach positions but are more dull than Phil and guys who can recruit/excite but can't coach their way out of a wet paper bag. Trooper may be the exception and I wouldn't be surpised if Fulmer doesn't give him a significant raise/bonus.
