How does Baylor always find a good coach

you probably know more than me. I've only had my law license 23 years and I am still learning new stuff just about daily. given the despicable nature of the issues involved, if Baylor could have proved anything, Baylor would not have offered him a cent in settlement. not even cost of defense. they settled with Ken Starr too...same logic applies to that deal. the most in depth investigation into this was the NCAA's and they couldn't put anything on Briles. he is eligible to coach college football today if someone is willing to hire him.
How about an expert opinion here? I followed the situation with Briles but not too closely. I remember football players being accused of rape and other atrocities and it was claimed Briles didn't do anything about the crimes. I remember thinking at the time "Why the hell would a woman that was raped go and tell a football coach?" That always seemed pretty stupid to me. I would think calling 911 or another means of contacting Law enforcement officials would be the proper thing to do. I hope I missed something, because I could easily see not having a problem with a coach dismissing people coming to me with claims against my players when they never reported incidents to the police. What did I miss?

Also speaking about Baylor, in 2010 they got Tennessee Medical's own Dr. Christopher Duntsch. This "neurosurgeon" went on a tear of killing and crippling at Baylor. They knew what was going on and let the guy resign WITH a settlement. That just allowed him to keep going killing and maiming even more people. Thank goodness a few docs from Baylor wouldn't let it go and finally got a DA involved. Duntsch was convicted and is behind bars now. It an incredible story. Dr. Death on Peacock if ya haven't seen it.

He doesn’t understand
I understand the physical beating he was taking. His interception was also caused from pressure of another potential hit. His replacement also took a physical beating and another seven sacks. Not hard to figure out.

4 wins against top 15 opponents. Odds are BYU drops out. That's two wins against top ten teams. Another win against a top 15. And even if BYU drops they will stay ranked. So 4 top 25 wins. When was the last time we did that?
Oklahoma will probably finish in the Top Ten also so you can make that three Top Ten wins because Ole Miss won't drop too far.

Patterson didn’t want the job after Fulmer was canned. And if he did and as you say Haslam wanted him then Hamilton would have hired him or been fired. Simple as that.

As to the Haslams? Hell, I don't know em, I have just talked to a few folks that do. Hamilton screwed up getting him, from what I have been told. Which is no surprise.

Sure Jimmy was pissed Schiano was torpedoed. It was he and Peyton after him...

I know how things work my friend. Been following those things since the 70s.... and the Haslam still have a say.. they ain't going anywhere..

Sure they do. But they are not the only ones. And you put them all together? It's kind of like a comedy of errors. However, the only ones that do not find their feuding, "A Fish Called Wanda" type backstabbing of each other funny is us.
