actually for DT's and OL's they do look at their 10 hard splits. TO measure explosiveness. SO the 40 is not irrelevant at all.I mean he is an OL, 40 is completely irrelevant.

He may be, but remember, we were short on players at both positions and will short on experience this Fall. on defense, the defensive backfield and the LB positions will ned for some of the new players to play a lot of football this year. They will get better as the season moves forward.I think he may be better at safety in the league...

It's not even that. They get that a pro days. Can calculate it on film. The only real value is the one on one interviewsThink about it. Basically it boils down to the 40 time. Seems like the NFL doesn’t really out much stock into actual game film, just the combine score. Take John Ross. He ran the fastest 40 time ever and it got him drafted in the first round. Ahead of guys like JuJu Schuster and Cooper Kupp. I mean it’s becoming laughable.
