Just thought maye we could benefit ourselves and the state f Tennessee football if we weren't constantly talking about firing a coach and hiring another one. That maybe we could help come up with ideas that could be of immediate benefit. At Least help keep each others heads high.

When it was 3rd and goal from the 26 yard line, why are we in a defense that only has one safety deep?

You have been a member to this site for 2 years ,and you haven't figured this out yet . Your IQ must be low on the gump scale .That might explain starting this whole thread . We all love the VOLS and support the team, but can't take bad coaching

Yeah brah! I've been on for 2 years. I read a short time before that. I only posted a couple times and had my questions answered. I have just read since. Bc of people like you , I have been hesitant to post. And since I didn't have 10 posts until just the other day when I decided to start being active in the forum, bc it used to be a good forum now it's just a bunch of people like you ganging up on people or expressing opinions you might now agree with, I couldn't post a new tread till then. Now that I got to ten. I able to start. Hence I haven't done this before.

Through 8 games we have the same record against an easier schedule.

The only two differences so far are: Cincinnati = NC State and LSU 11 >>>> Ms State 12

We dropped Arkansas for Missouri which should be a loss to a winnable game. So our record could be better at the end of the season but its not really improved.

By the way mane...I never said anyone here didn't love the Vols or support the team. Do some reading and maybe you'll understand my point. That is we are still paying Fulmer, money is low, and Dooleys combined buyout with staff is nearly 10 million. Until we start seeing the new money from new TV contracts we probably aren't in the best position to buyout a second HC and staff and offer 6 year 40 million on another risk. Dooley is showin progress just haven't gotten over the hump.

Not sure what you're thinking with when you think about other coaches, but I don't think it's your head.

Sure as hell didnt before making your comment. I shouldn't have to reiterate points I've already made bc people like you chose to chime in without actually reading what I've written.

Coaching isn't at the level we all wish it was at. But they are making progress. Although the D is crazy bad.

I am so sick of hearing that BS. It's like what Romney said about Obama, in the first debate. He thinks if he tells a lie enough times, people will eventually start to believe it.

Was successful as a HC at Houston and was very interested. So enough with that nonsense.

I agree with your point. But take a look at our losses besides Alabama.

We competed and lost by a very narrow margin.

Last year all everyone wanted was for us to be able to show up for 60 minutes.

Now that we have.

It's not good enough.

We are almost over that hump. Just too bad we ran through the toughest part of our schedule and only have cupcakes left.

I hope we put it on em! Prove we are right there.

i'm sorry but never in a million years did I 'only expect us to show up for 60 minutes'. That is a pathetic mentality.

But who else would have been on board?

We didn't have the money then.

We don't have it now, unless some major donor THROWS DOWN!

And until we start seeing money coming in from new tv deals then I see we are between a rock and a hard place.

My original point. We, as fans, should step it up when it comes to such hateful attitudes bc it doesn't do anyone any good except to breed more hate.

Recruits get turned away hard if they were to ever read this board.

We had our time. Can't stay on too forever. We have to do what we need to to take the top spot again.

Stay the course and make the changes we need to make. It's an investment in our future and just pray the Strategic changes will pay off no matter who is coaching or being coached against in the future. That's football.

I refuse to believe that the only person Hamilton could find was a guy who has a losing record at La Tech and wasn't even a head coach at the time. That's absurd.

I don't know how you feel. I just know that reading last year all I heard was how everyone just wished we could show for 60.

Obviously that may not be everyone's opinion. But I'm gald to see we have enter depth and have come as close as we have in our losses.

I feel your pain. It all hurts me to. I not disputing Dooley can't get it done. Just that we can't afford it right now.

I should go back and see how you felt about that BIG announcement that was coming Monday. Maybe you'll save me the time and tell me. We're you under the impression it was? How did you feel when it didn't? Hen do you think it's going to happen? I say not before the end of the year if not end of next if wins don't start happening in a respectable way next year.
