So you're telling me if say a top DL recruit was coming here because of Coach Rumph, and Rumph left before signing day, you don't think that would affect that recruit? I think it does, I also think us not having an OC in place does affect recruiting to a point. You can't say it wouldn't make a recruit hesitant to sign the LOI. I'd question any recruits decision making if he committed to a place where he wasn't sure who his coach would be.

As many high school coaches tell athletes you better be in love with the school, facilities and the city because there are no guarantees than "your guy" is gonna be there. This is especially true of position coaches and coordinators. Will some kids de commit because there are changes before they enroll sure but I want the kids that want to "give their all for Tennessee". There are probably at least a few on the roster now.

That’s not the scenario we’re discussing. Anybody we’re talking now has a main recruiter. Harrison Bailey seems to have an inkling who his coach is going to be. Lot of angst for very little reason iyam.
