Hey Governmentmule - softball thread needed

Arnold up in the zone got her to swing lucky to get out with a tie. I wonder who is going to hit the ball for us?

This series is first games that I have seen and it is apparent that they really lack SEC pitching and their hitting does not have the capability to overcome weak pitching. It is going to be a long year imo.

A long year for LV softball means that it will be tough to make a Super Regional.

It could have been worse. This is the difference between a SR. dominated team and one that isn't. SC has hung in there and not gotten down. You can tell that TN doesn't yet know how to finish this kind of a game.

The TN batters are letting Elliott flummox them with her pitches all over the place. She always comes back to the corner pitch away and down.

SC has also been very smart to pitch around Gregg and Geer and go ahead and put them on. It's paid off so far.

Hahaha oh okay...this team will be alright...

Hope you are right but they have no 1st line SEC pitchers and only two on the roster ....no depth behind two average pitchers. So imo they will need to be a high scoring team in SEC against some really good pitchers....hope they can pull it off and can be competitive against the likes of Fla,Bama,Lsu,Ga ,etc.

They have 4 pitchers on the roster, although the bottom two are extremely suspect. I consider Moss and Arnold above average but they aren't of Florida's caliber for sure.

Always has to be Gregg in almost every game. Ridiculous these other girls like Leach etc can't get a big hit.

Gregg walks again. Be interesting to see who they want to pitch to...Geer with 2 on or Seggern with the bases loaded.

I was talking about pitchers on roster who can pitch and be effective in SEC .Thank goodness Megan pulled their nuts out of the fire in this game.....they will need such hitting many times in future this year .

It's about time a TN hitter picked up on Elliott's pattern. Geer waited and crushed that ball. It hit half way up the scoreboard.
