And as far as quality of job, Tennessee is not elite like LSU admittedly is, but it is very good. We are not Kentucky or South Carolina or some other mid program with zero tradition or pride. Last I checked we recruit top 10 or close to it every year and have a 100k stadium of our own. Look at our record vs LSU. We have definitely held our own against them over the years.

Agree. Used to spend a lot of time on business in Baton Rouge and it is an absolute pit. The whole town has a distinct aroma. Sort of a combination of refineries and butt.

All they have left is MS State and the CFP this year which the team should be up for no matter whether he's leaving or not, so it's low class but I doubt it kills the locker room.

However, any portal guys or recruits he's been working on should be deleting his number about now.

He has the class and the smile of a rattlesnake and I'll still insist that anyone who hires him is just renting his services until Tuscaloosa calls.

Florida's admin is a dumpster fire and who wants the governor of Louisiana lurking behind a plant in your office telling you how to do your job?

Kiffin (and Heup) would be insane to go to either. All the resources in the world won't mask the bureaucratic dysfunction in those athletic departments.

I just can't see Hype coaching LSU. Oil and water comes to mind.
They would love the early LaTech's, but that's probably it.
Keep in mind if LSU is dumb enough to go down that road Mike Gundy might finally say yes.. lol
