Since, like usual, the game thread is too crowded. Delete or move this later if you feel like.
1. The offensive line has improved, but not as much as I thought it would.
2. Ainge is fine. IMO most of the success we have this season will be due to him.
3. Cal came to play. I told you guys, last year, that we didn't get to see the real Cal team because they were playing catch up. I said if they were playing even ball, they could game with us. I caught crap over this for days. I mean, yeah, we're not tackling, but they're also literally running circles around us.
4. I'm not sure if the defensive line is simply not gaming, or really can't keep up with Cal's guys.
5. I honestly thought Foster was going to be somewhat of a bust this year, but given that Cal's defense has actually managed to stifle our running attack at points, I'd say Foster will be fine.
6. Their skill players are faster than we are, and with Hefney injured, there's not much we can do about that except try to keep them contained on the inside. If we're going to beat Cal, we need to keep scoring points and hope for a break or two on defense/special teams.
This team seems a lot like an extension of last years.
