Ahhh...the good ole bulldawg fan. WORST in my book...two experiences to call on. One trying to pour his fifth of vodka and coke on my head because I cheered when Peyton threw a touchdown to beat them in Neyland, and the other when we wound up arriving late and had to drive through a "camp" of UGA creeps (40 to 60 year old people) when they started throwing beer cans at our car a flipping us off. Like being flipped off by your grandma!

The UF jerks I saw yesterday were obnoxious, but alot were just wierd.

I can agree with you here. I was in Gainesville in 01, and even after winning the game, they still yelling out "Tennessee still sucks" and whatnot.

We are Vol fans and we brought friends for their first Vol game. We were treated terribly by the Vol fans around us. I was really shocked by the way our fellow fans acted. We weren't standing up unless the rest of the crowd was standing, we weren't acting obnoxious or drinking, just enjoying the game and sharing the experience with friends. The people behind us were drunk and cussed at us, shoved their knees in our backs repeatedly and asked us if we liked it, and were just awful. When they left, the people around us said they act like that every week. I was ashamed that my fellow fans would act like that. Can't imagine if opposing fans had been in those seats. I told my friends that not all Vol fans act like that but they aren't anxious to get back to Neyland.

ok sorry to bust your bubble but i went to the game with with my mother and father in law who r from florida and r gator fans and i dont think we can talk about there fans when our fans arent any better you wanna talk about classless acting fans its our fans we dont need to be talkin smack after we got our ass whooped by them for the 6th straight year!!! its was pretty bad all the vol fans yelling go back to florida you old bastards....not cool at all..

Not sure if this belongs in this thread but this a great anecdote from yesterday's game..

I was making my way through the throngs of the concourse during halftime when I found myself behind typical Toolbag College boy, his 2 buddies and one clueless girl.

They just so happened to be Florida fans.

This kid had the outfit down. Justin Beiber mop top hair, Blue shorts, Button down plaid shirt, designer sandals,and to top it all off, a straight brimmed hat cocked completely sideways....You all know the type of guy i'm describing

They were being tools just standing in eveybody's way and acting like idiots when a TN Fan walked by and grabbed the kid's hat and turned it straight on his head!

The kid looked around asking who did that like he was going to fight they guy. The TN fan just looked him dead in the eye and said "I did." The kid just kind kind stood there with his buddies with a what the hell do i do now look on his face until i chimed in to get "his a$$ out of the way".

Much respect to whoever turned the hat around the right way. The look on the kid's face was priceless.

Sounds like LG, you would meet my litmus test for a tolerable Gator fan; i.e. you could tell me who Charlie Pell and/or Kerwin Bell are.

Hell, 3/4 of your knowledgeable fanbase probably only knows Galen Hall as a coordinator for Joe Paterno.

Why don't you actually admit that most of the Florida fanbase is classless? Be a man and take responsibility for the fanbase. Quit trying to deflect and talk about the F you Florida chants....I'll admit that wasn't classy, but that is nowhere near as bad as what typical UF fans do in Gainesville.

Every team has the worst fans when you continually lose to them...I bet it burns you up even more when said team isn't even playing up to their potential and still defeats you by 2 td's in your own house

That's awesome. Towards the end of the game, we had 3 gator fans about 4 rows in front of us. Of course the Vol faithful in between us had all left. There were 2 tools dressed as you described celebrating, doing the gator chomp, etc. One cheese **** stood up and held up a Go Vols sign, and ripped it in two. About the time he finished ripping it he caught my eye. I shouldn't have but I was pissed so as he turned around I shouted, "Hey Ginger, set your boy band @ss down and STFU!" I saw a few more chomps before the game was over, but Ginger never turned back around again.

I saw some well behaved Gator fans....I saw some jerks. Nothing so far to compare to Georgia trash tho....

There were two people dressed in all Alabama clothes sitting behind me in the game yesterday, while I hate Florida fans most, these Alabama fans annoyed the heck out of me.

And even the Tennessee fans, I was told 8 different times by 3 people to sit down. It's a football game!

None & all of them, including the way their traveling band did is nothing but classless.. the prez of uf should be so proud, DH and I were wondering if they served up in classes on how to be a pain in the arse, classless, drunk and totally disrespectful of being on someone else's campus.. and to the UT season tickets holders that "SOLD OUT" TO gator fans, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!! They were frickin everywhere from the skybox, terrace and all around... talk about some sad fans, why do you even donate and sell out? I'd rather burn my tickets than sell to the enemy.. hell, they were even parking in L9 and that lot is for the big time donors.. what a sad sad thing.. we are so proud of our young, green team, it's coming folks, it's coming when we will be back on top... anybody but florida... good Lord...

Just be patient, their attitude will change soon enough! Their not the world beaters they were when Tebow was there. They will come crashing down from their cloud very soon and will turn on Myer and he will be gone. It will kinda be like their BB program, after Noah and all the others left for the NBA, they will come crashing back down to reality! JMO

I agree with this. It amazes me how vol fans can have such hatred for other vol fans like what I saw yesterday. There is the legend of how great our fans are and then there is the reality. Most fans who keep griping about how other fan bases are the worse don't face the reality of that.
