Ga is much better on offense this year. Last year their receivers led the nation in drops. They were also close to the bottom in the SEC rushing the ball. Neither occurs this year. Add to it they showed absolutely nothing in their first two games. This is what people dont want to hear and its truth. Unless we get a lot better on defense we're not beating Bama or OU. Could very easily lose another one out of Miss St, Arkansas, UF or Vandy. I think everyone is generating false hope coming off this UGA loss. UGA is not very good on offense and they just put 500 yards of offense on us and ran the ball down our throats. Our offense is championship caliber and back to as close as we've ever been to 2022. I'm not at all saying we cant get better on defense. Getting all our guys back healthy would be a huge step but it sounds like Hobbs and Moi are going to be the only 2 we're gonna get back. Really need at least one of Gibson/McCoy back because Redmon isnt ready for a full SEC slate yet. But again, we have to be a lot better on D to make the playoffs.
Branch is a difference maker. So is Young. The pass to Humphries on 4th down was a beautiful throw by Stockton. Add to it their TE offense & they’ll be a hand full.
Tennessee has to get healthy in the DL. Gibson is most likely out for the season. McCoy may come back, may not. Redmond lost a few battles but we don’t see the plays he covers his guy either.
