Here’s the thing not many people probably want to hear

This is what people dont want to hear and its truth. Unless we get a lot better on defense we're not beating Bama or OU. Could very easily lose another one out of Miss St, Arkansas, UF or Vandy. I think everyone is generating false hope coming off this UGA loss. UGA is not very good on offense and they just put 500 yards of offense on us and ran the ball down our throats. Our offense is championship caliber and back to as close as we've ever been to 2022. I'm not at all saying we cant get better on defense. Getting all our guys back healthy would be a huge step but it sounds like Hobbs and Moi are going to be the only 2 we're gonna get back. Really need at least one of Gibson/McCoy back because Redmon isnt ready for a full SEC slate yet. But again, we have to be a lot better on D to make the playoffs.
Ga is much better on offense this year. Last year their receivers led the nation in drops. They were also close to the bottom in the SEC rushing the ball. Neither occurs this year. Add to it they showed absolutely nothing in their first two games.

Branch is a difference maker. So is Young. The pass to Humphries on 4th down was a beautiful throw by Stockton. Add to it their TE offense & they’ll be a hand full.

Tennessee has to get healthy in the DL. Gibson is most likely out for the season. McCoy may come back, may not. Redmond lost a few battles but we don’t see the plays he covers his guy either.

4-16 over the last 20 years against UGA. I'm tired of being the thorn. Either find the people who can turn this team into the dagger that gets thrust into the heart of opposing teams or gtfo.....
You make no sense at all. Where are you going to find this person, with the magic wand, to bring us a Natty every single year. We can be like FL, who fired Mullen to hire Napier. How's that worked out? BTW, Mullen is 3-0. We can fire Josh and re-hire Pruett or Butch.

I did not see the end of the, only got reports. It seemed to take forever to play that minute. It appeared that Heupel was trying to burn as much clock as possible, so Stockton would not have time to do anything. I am afraid this says a lot about his opinion of our defense.

You couldn't be more wrong. He handled it perfectly other than not running one more play to center the ball and keep Max in rhythm.

You have a kicker you trust and are well within his range - only a fool would risk a turnover or holding call rather than take it down to the last play. 99 out of 100 times we win in that scenario. This happened to be that one time.

Depends on the individual. Some fans or coaches can see a loss and not care, some players get devastated over any loss. I didn’t see players out there who don’t care, but I’m sure many of them will be in a better mood on Monday than many fans will be. But sometimes players need to be like good corners and have a short memory.
I did not mean to imply that the players don’t care. I am thinking a day later or so. Heck I was so mad the way it ended I could have bitten a nail in two. The players were able to be civil and shake each others hands.
