Listen. It’s pretty simple. If you’re a snowflake that gets “offended” easily then Maurer probably isn’t and never will be your favorite player. He says what’s on his mind and doesn’t shy away from how he feels to spare your feelings. Do I wish he would? Yes. Or at least understand WHEN to spare his thoughts. But if you’re offended because he supports his teammates (past AND present) then YOU are a snowflake. Which makes YOU the problem.

I’ve met Henry T and he’s a good kid. Wishing him to fail says a lot of your personal character while many of you are criticizing Maurers. Like it or not Henry T wore the same colors that Maurer did and within a locker room a team forms a bond/friendships. That friendship doesn’t just disappear when a player moves on, no matter WHAT team he chooses to move on to.

Criticize him all you want but you’re looking at it from a rivalry point of view and disregarding the personal level these kids are on due to that rivalry. That’s YOU. Not THEM.

I'm curious where those like @sjt18 who've touted Maurer are when again he's seemingly gone after Vol fans yet again.

I'll give the kid kudos that he's consistent since I think he went after fans when they attacked JG also, but there's a certain amount of "reading the room" needed for leadership.

I'm willing to yield to CJH, as he has an office where the QBs can discuss concerns with him AND he's a better judge of QB talent than I'll ever be...... but @sjt18 what do you think of Maurer liking this tweet?
