He is a professional coach and should be held to the high standards of someone making 4 million plus per year!!
This isn't a charity and Jeremy isn't one of Jerry's kids!!
You are what your record says you are and Jeremy Pruitt so is a loser in two of his three years.
He should man up and be held accountable for his record and other foolish actions such as hiring coaches without interviewing them ! Then firing them just four games into the season!
By the way, has he fired Kevin Steele yet and put UT on the hook for his buyout? I don't trust any new coaching hires as Jeremy has proven he will ignore their talents then micromanage, overrule them and make the calls himself anyways..

Pruitt might be back but I just don't see how they can keep him because after the first loss the hounds of hell will be howling again and the people won't be coming to the games...It's a lose lose...HOWEVER if by some crazy chance they do fire him and hire someone like Freeze then the excitement will be back and the fans will come back...Fulmer's butt is on the line if he keeps him and he stinks it up again and lets be honest, He will...He'll be lucky to win 4 games next season...I guess its a wait and see thing now.

Wonder if that is what they are waiting on instead of possibly firing him while everyone is away from campus and having them them having to hear about it from the net or tv or wherever about the decision maybe they are waiting for them to all comeback to campus before the info is let out. It was said that he met the other day with lawyers and he also has his own it was talked about the other day on Late Kick Podcast. I think if they are all back on campus and in class this week we could possibly hear something by next weekend about the direction of this football program that will end all the speculation.

Maybe they fire him, maybe they don't. Either way, I am hopeful for how the Packers do through the playoffs. It's hockey season, and I will be enjoying the Avalanche games. And in April? I will be watching the AFL's Sydney Swans games. So, I feel my sports fandom is quite healthy, and the people overseeing those organizations give me plenty of hope for the coming year. I will try to hold a small hope for the Vols to do something worthwhile, but it will remain a very small one. And if you guys are going to have further misery? You have my sympathies. For whatever they are worth.

I know we were bad but there are multiple teams that were worse then us on our schedule next year. I expect to beat Bowling Green, S. Alabama, Pitt, Vandy, & Jr. I also believe HB can beat Mizzo & KY. We will most likely lose to bama, uga, fla and get outscored by Ole Miss. 7-4 with a possible bowl win is my expectation. If it plays out this way i think we can start competing for the east in '22 with a competent 3rd year qb

4 Wins should do it with all 6 of the 8 the losses within a TD of a win this will keep attendance up and money rolling in the establishments bottom line
2 other loses 25+ Bama & UGA annual blowouts.
That gets him another year, no extensions please.

I believe the question a lot of folks are missing is:
How bad is our football program's condition when the head coach and three assistants have to fly across country to make a personal appeal to get a Junior standout like Henry to please come back..?? After all...Henry isn't some "new kid" who got cold feet about his commitment to UT at the last minute. I suspect that if Henry had decided to leave the program and the visit to his home by the "Four Wise Men" wasn't enough to keep him on the roster, JCP would have changed his return flight and headed for Tuscaloosa instead of Knoxville.

While I understand you think he needs to be fired, I think you are wrong. There is no way UT sends Pruitt to talk to To'oTo'o if he is being fired. You guys keep forgetting that Fulmer said Pruitt will not be fired this year. There is no way that assistant coaches would be hired if the HC was leaving. Pruitt will be here at least through the rest of 2021.

What position is Steele coaching? It’s possible that he he is a piece capable of filling multiple roles. We haven’t hired anyone else, nor extended Tee or Neids contracts. There is also “no way” we would bring back this head coach with 6-7 new assistants. Graham, osovet, and Ansley have all been linked to other openings. And they doesn’t include Weinke, who’s done a crummy job.

As for fulmer, he’s on the clock.

The Vols winning 10 games in 2021 may be a little far fetched under any circumstance
